De Pere Housing Authority is a public housing agency that helps provide decent and safe rental housing for eligible low-income families, the elderly, and persons with disabilities. The De Pere Housing Authority was established to provide safe and sanitary housing for individuals and families of lower income. Today, the De Pere Housing Authority has 100 total rental units which include 85 apartments at Nicolet Terrace, and 15 homes within the De Pere area.

The Housing Authority also has fifteen single-story family homes ranging in size from 3-bedroom to 5-bedroom that are scattered in residential areas of both East and West De Pere. All homes are located in residential neighborhoods and come with single-stall attached garage, patio, and a full yard.
The De Pere Housing Authority is an independent governmental agency governed by a five-member board of City of De Pere residents. As our funding is derived by tenant-paid rents and Grants from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), no municipal tax dollars are used in the operations of the Housing Authority.
